The cabin

We drove from Chattanooga to the Pigeon Forge/Chattanooga area with our friends the Jackson's and the McKeon's. We're staying in a three bedroom cabin in the mountains. It has a pool table and hot tub, which we have enjoyed because it's so cold. We've been playing lots of Wii games, reading, watching movies, and making yummy meals. We've taken turns cooking and tonight I'm looking forward to my friend Hellen cooking some traditional Kenyan food (she's a Kenya native). We went hiking one day (George stayed behind with Ian). It was a family friendly trail that wasn't too hard for the kids to handle. The girls enjoyed outlet shopping yesterday while the guys went to see a movie. Apparently it was scary because Ethan was in our friend's lap the whole time. I've read two books so far. We found a book outlet yesterday so I've picked out a few more. Our trip to TN is turning out to be a lot of fun and an awesome way to start out the new year.
