I celebrated my 35th year on Friday.  As I've gotten older, birthdays haven't been as exciting but this year was pretty fun.  I was spoiled by my friends and family and enjoyed every minute of it:)  We went to my in-laws on my birthday to celebrate all of us who had birthdays this fall.  The boys got me another broken china necklace (love those!) and I got a necklace made out of a vintage typewriter key (always wanted one of those).  My husband suprised me with Jars of Clay tickets to a Christmas concert (whoo hoo!).  I also got one of my favorite gifts of all time--books!

Saturday night we celebrated by going to see the Chapman's in concert with a group of friends.  A friend of our's who is a chef, made us all dinner (couldn't get any better!)  A friend suprised me with some artwork she had made for me (how awesome is that?!).  The concert with Steven, Mary Beth, and their sons was AWESOME!  Loved it!

And so after being spoiled with lots of fun gifts (my friends and family know me so well--books, Starbucks, Williams Sonoma, vintage stuff) and fun times, now on to real life.  Sigh...
